Residents of Kyneton and surrounding areas now have more access to free legal advice due to a new service being offered jointly by Victoria Legal Aid and the Loddon Campaspe Community Legal Centre.
Victoria Legal Aid lawyers are available at the Cobaw Community Health Service on the first and last Monday afternoons of each month, while a lawyer from the Loddon Campaspe Community Legal Centre attends on other Monday afternoons.
The lawyers can answer general queries about the law, with the Victoria Legal Aid lawyers able to offer specialist advice on family law (the first Monday) and on criminal law (the last Monday).
The service is open to residents of Kyneton, Woodend, Lancefield, Gisborne and other local districts and is available from 1pm to 4pm each Monday.
The Cobaw Community Health Service is at 47 High St, Kyneton.
To book an appointment call Victoria Legal Aid's Bendigo office on 1800 254 500.
