New family violence intervention order publications

Our new plain language intervention order booklets and updated fact sheets are now available. Development of these new resources has been shaped by our research, and consultation with community agencies, the courts and the police, around the new family violence laws.

The resources are:

• Safe at home: how to get a family violence intervention order (booklet)
• How to respond to a family violence intervention order (booklet)
• Seeing a lawyer: for affected family members (fact sheet)
• Seeing a lawyer: for respondents (fact sheet)
• the family violence card – a business card summarising key points about orders and their consequences, for workers to give to clients.
