A new brochure about appealing Centrelink decisions is part of VLA’s latest free publications. The brochure outlines how VLA specialists in social security law can help people who disagree with a Centrelink decision. It will be launched at a VLA conference on social security matters in mid-November.
There is now a new edition of Take control, a kit for making powers of attorney and guardianship. Produced with the Office of the Public Advocate, the tenth edition features a significant restructure and updated forms.
Other new editions of VLA publications include Road to court, a guide to traffic offences in the Magistrates Court and Right a wrong, a directory of where and how to lodge complaints in Victoria.
The above publications are available in English.
The following publications are now available in five languages: Arabic, English, Chinese, Turkish and Vietnamese.
These free publications, and many others produced by Victoria Legal Aid, can be ordered online.
