'New law' section

Date : 29 Nov 2007

‘New law’ is a new feature on Victoria Legal Aid’s website that keeps you up to date with the latest changes in the law.

‘New law’ aims to alert readers of our publications to legal changes that may affect the currency of VLA publications. The intention is to provide key information about the changes and to link to more detailed information.

For example, ‘New law’ provides information about the new citizenship laws and then links you to information from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, and the Commonwealth Ombudsman.

Other topics in ‘New law’ include voting, employment, drug-driving and fines.
