Guideline and billing training – Commonwealth family law and family violence protection orders

Whether you have just started legal aid work or are a seasoned panel practitioner, you are invited to attend our training sessions on guidelines and billing.  We want to make sure that you have the support and knowledge to do legally aided work.      

The training sessions will focus on:

  • Commonwealth family law guidelines (Family Dispute Resolution Service, litigation and recovery for adult applicants in parenting and property matters).
  • Fee table 4.1 (excluding independent childrens lawyer and child support), what and how fees are payable.
  • Family violence protection order guideline and fees payable.

We are aiming to provide you with engaging training through smaller but more frequent sessions with a focus on tailoring the sessions to your feedback and needs.

Spots are limited. Please register to attend a session at our Melbourne Office 570 Bourke Street on:

  • Commonwealth family law guidelines – 16 November 2018 from 3.30–5.30 pm 
  • Commonwealth family law guidelines 30 November 2018 from 3.30–5.30 pm
  • Commonwealth family law matters (excluding ICL and child support), Fee Table 4.1 – 7 December 2018 from 3.30–5.30 pm
  • family violence protection order guidelines and fees – 1 March 2019 from  3.30–5.30 pm.
