Just in case

This book is for children aged eight to 12 who are going to the Children’s Court Family Division. It has information about:

  • why children go to this court
  • what happens at court
  • who they are likely to meet at court and what they do
  • the sorts of outcomes they can expect, explained through the stories of several cases
  • legal words and what they mean.

The book also has a range of learning activities and games, such as ‘Find Lex’, mazes, join-the-dots, word search and a colour-in page.
