Indictable Crime Panel

Membership of this panel entitles practitioners to conduct legally aided Magistrates' Court committals and County and Supreme Court pleas and trials via the simplified grants process. Membership is by firm rather than by individual practitioner.

Appointment to the Indictable Crime Panel is limited for a period of five years.

To be considered for inclusion on this panel:

  • you must be admitted as practitioners of the Supreme Court of Victoria, have signed the High Court Roll and hold a current practising certificate under the Legal Practice Act, and
  • your firm must have at least one partner who is a criminal law specialist with an extensive current practice in the area of indictable crime.
