The documents below should be read in conjunction with the guidelines for assistance contained in the VLA Handbook for lawyers.
These notes provide assistance in interpreting the Handbook, and direct practitioners using the simplified grants process as to how to apply the guidelines. Practitioners must make recommendations that are consistent with these notes.
