Changing the way you log into ATLAS

Changing the way you log into ATLAS

Tuesday, 31 August 2021

We’re ramping up security for ATLAS, meaning you’ll need to have your mobile handy whenever you log in.

From Tuesday 13 September, our multi-factor authentication (MFA) system will kick in, keeping us in-line with best practice industry security.

With cybercrime on the rise during the pandemic, it’s essential we do everything we can to protect our data and our systems.

Under the new login process, you’ll be sent a code or one time PIN via your mobile phone, which then needs to be entered on the ATLAS login page.

You may be familiar with the process through online banking, myGov or other services, as it’s fast becoming a standard security requirement.

It also enables us to comply with the Victorian Protective Data and Security Framework and Standards.

We’ve put together a step-by-step guide to help you through the change, which ATLAS users should have already received by email.
