Indigenous Legal Needs Project Victorian report launch

The Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service, Victoria Legal Aid and the Indigenous Legal Needs Project (James Cook University) invite you to attend the launch of the Indigenous Legal Needs Project Victorian Report.

The launch will include a presentation of the report findings by Tropical Leader in Justice and Social Inclusion Professor Chris Cunneen, Senior Lecturer Melanie Schwartz and Senior Research Officer Fiona Allison.

The report has been compiled by the national Indigenous Legal Needs Project, in collaboration with its Victorian project partners, the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service and Victoria Legal Aid.

The report will identify and analyse the priority civil and family law needs of Indigenous people in Victoria. It draws from fieldwork conducted in Bairnsdale, Bendigo, Fitzroy, Framlingham, Heidelberg, Shepparton, Swan Hill and Robinvale.

Questions and comments are encouraged following the launch.
