New consolidated approach to quality assurance reviews

New consolidated approach to quality assurance reviews

Monday, 10 May 2021

We are pleased to announce new developments in the Quality Assurance team designed to improve the process for our practice partners undergoing an audit and compliance check.

Further to the restructure of Grants and Quality Assurance (GQA), which brought our compliance and audit functions together, we will now conduct joint compliance checks and quality audits of our panel practitioners.

The benefits of this new consolidated approach will assist us to:

  • provide focused communications to our practice partners through a single point of contact for practitioners undergoing an audit and compliance check
  • increase efficiency by assessing a single set of practitioner files for the purposes of both quality audits and compliance checks
  • deliver a single set of ‘outcomes’ that support a simplified process
  • focus our efforts on areas of high risk
  • continue to strengthen our relationships with our practice partners.

Audits and compliance checks will now be referred to as ‘Quality Assurance reviews.’

We will introduce this new approach with a limited number of Quality Assurance reviews over the next few months, and we look forward to engaging with practice partners during these reviews.
