Nigel joined the Victoria Legal Aid chairperson panel in November of 2012. He has worked as an family dispute resolution practitioner since 2006.

Since the 1990s, Nigel has worked in many sections of the community sector, including youth support, supported housing for youth, public housing advocacy, private rental brokerage, consumer affairs advocacy, drug and alcohol support, multicultural mental health and for the Office of Corrections.
