Susan has been a practising mediator since 1992 and a family lawyer since 1984. She has been a chairperson with the Victoria Legal Aid Family Dispute Resolution Service (FDRS) since it first began in 2003.
In addition to her work at FDRS, Susan is also on the Independent Children's Lawyer Panel at Victoria Legal Aid. Susan continues to work privately as a family dispute resolution practitioner and mediator. In 2017 she was awarded FDRP of the year. Susan is a trained conflict coach, arbitrator and lecturer at the College of Law.
