Experience
Valda joined the Victoria Legal Aid chairperson panel in November 2012.
Valda has a strong background in family law, gained initially as a lawyer in private practice, in the community sector at a legal service and later at the Legal Aid Commission of Victoria. Valda then joined the Family Court of Australia as a registrar and court appointed mediator.
In addition to her work at Victoria Legal Aid, she currently conducts a family law locum and dispute resolution practice.
