Police powers and my rights

Your rights when you are speaking with the police, or if you are searched or arrested.

When dealing with the police it is important to remember you have rights, but you also have responsibilities.

You can avoid problems if you are sensible and keep calm. If the situation gets out of control, stay calm, remember your rights and get legal advice quickly.
