It is important to follow this step-by-step guide to ensure that barristers are paid the correct amount without undue delay.

When a barrister undertakes appearance or other legal work, practitioners submitting a claim are required to enter barrister details in ATLAS to ensure that we pay the correct amount directly to the barrister.

This is part of the obligation in the General Practice Standards to ensure that barristers accept the relevant terms of the grant of assistance before engaging their services, and that barristers are paid for those services in a timely manner.
