We are making changes to our communications to ensure we are meeting the needs of our practice partners and sharing important news from Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) in the most efficient and effective way.

In 2022, we will continue to distribute our newsletter Legal Aid Brief every fortnight, starting this Wednesday 9 February.

Every edition will have a have a focus on practical and operational updates for our panel practitioners and practice partners from across the legal assistance sector.

We will include a wrap up of other news and advocacy updates from VLA programs and projects in every second edition.

If you would like the latest news on our strategic advocacy or other organisational priorities as it happens, make sure you’re subscribed to our LinkedIn, twitter and Facebook accounts.

We are also planning to send one-off updates about important projects or events to our public subscriber list as we reach important milestones.

How can I contribute?

We are always pleased to highlight the great work of people in the legal assistance sector, as well as upcoming important events and training opportunities.

If you have a story suggestion for Legal Aid Brief, please email editor@vla.vic.gov.au.
