About this resource

This free card is for people who are receiving compulsory treatment or feel at risk of compulsory treatment.

It says how an independent advocate can:

  • give you information and support to act on your rights
  • work with you so you can have your say
  • refer you to other services if you need.

The card has information about how to contact IMHAExternal Link (Independent Mental Health Advocacy) for independent, free and confidential services.

This card is available in Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Dari, English, Greek, Italian, Macedonian, Persian, Serbian, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese.

There is a free card with First Nations artwork for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
